Amanda Berg
Hello there! I’m Amanda. Growing up in mixed-nationality household, I spent my youth visiting family in Italy, which gave me an insatiable wanderlust and a deep love of the arts and art history.
My experiences travelling as a kid led me to become a Fine Arts Conservator (someone who preserves and repairs museum objects). I built my entire career in the arts around my ability to travel and see (and work on) fantastic and rare works of cultural heritage.
I am an explorer at heart. I have visited more than 15 countries (even lived in a few of them) and most of the United States. I love an adventure! Whether that be scuba diving, dune bashing, wine tours, tattoo tourism, jungle zip-lining, visiting every museum I can find, being a beach bum, or just eating everything in sight. I’ve stayed in everything from tents on the dunes to luxury resorts, and have relished every new escapade.
It is my fundamental belief that travel makes people better. The things you learn about yourself and the world while away from home are the most rewarding and fulfilling lessons in life. Through my work with museums, I have come to understand the deep connections we all have as humans – what connects us is our stories. I want everyone to be able to experience that connection. My goal is to help you live your perfect adventure by planning an expedition that connects you to your family and your fellow humans, and becomes a story you’ll treasure for years to come.
