There is no better feeling than having upcoming travel on your calendar! Exploring different places and cultures is something I am very passionate about. As a mom of three young girls, I want them to experience the world of travel just as I have. Being a travel agent means I can help others plan their dream vacations while handling all the logistics for them. Going on a trip knowing that everything is already mapped out brings a sense of contentment for the client. I hope to not only help others make their travel dreams come true but also to become their friend along the way!

We loved using Michelle for our trip to Mexico for a wedding. She had everything set up for us and all we had to do was show up and follow her instructions. Would definitely recommend and we will use again!

Michelle Mladenka at Travel Byrds went above and beyond to make sure our family trip to Lake Tahoe/Trukee was the absolute best!! She found an incredible house in Truckee for us to stay in. She arranged our fishing, boating and white water rafting trips with some of the nicest people. If I had any pricing or availability questions, she was there with the answer. My family and I all agree that it was the BEST family trip we have ever been on and Michelle made it happen 😊

We used Michelle Mladenka as our travel agent in May 2024 when my brother and I took our dad to Europe for his 70th bday and I cannot say enough great things about her! She was kind, super easy to work with, and extremely responsive and reliable, even when we were 7 hours ahead in France. She would FaceTime/text/set up zoom meetings with us ahead of time to understand exactly what we wanted from our vacation, researched tons of things for us and presented us with a power point presentation to go over our trip. She had an awesome app for us to use to track all of our trips and hotels and tickets. If something fell through during the trip or we had to switch gears, she was on the phone with me and/or the travel company immediately. She was an absolutely gem to work with and 100000% worth it! I can’t wait to have her book my next vacation!

Michelle did an incredible job planning our honeymoon to Hawaii! She communicated with us every step of the way and put in a lot of research. She was also very good about providing suggestions for places to eat and making reservations for us. There was a slight hiccup when we checked into our hotel, but it was resolved quickly and it was easy to get in touch with her. She was also very good about checking in while we were on our trip to see how things were going. This was our first time using a travel agency, and one of our concerns going into this was whether there would be someone available if we had an issue, so we really appreciated her reaching out and giving us peace of mind. I would definitely use The Travel Byrds again.

I found Michelle Mladenka through a local mom’s Facebook group. My brother and I took our dad to Europe for a 70th birthday this past May and we ended up using her to book our trip. We went to six different countries over the course of 10 days and Michelle was nothing short of magical. She and I talked tons before the trip. she set up a PowerPoint presentation and a zoom call for us to see everything that she had planned and talk through the wants and not wants of the trip. once we were there, she checked in constantly and we did have a couple situations where our tour got canceled and even though she was eight hours behind us, she was on the phone or on her computer immediately figuring it out for us. Since then, my mother-in-law has used her to book 2 additional trips. She has been nothing short of amazing. I would recommend her 1000%!
