Japan
Japan is an incredible destination to plan because the country often holds so many surprises and the culture is so unique. We love setting up Kobe beef and sake tastings or taking you on street food tour with a local to ease you into the amazing Japanese cuisine and help you navigate the bustling streets of Tokyo. Then, your adventure can take you hiking up and around Mt Fuji, to the culturally immersive town of Kyoto to experience geishas serving tea, temples of all types, or take a samurai sword making class. From there, you can explore the mountains in Nagano to watch the snow monkeys soak in the hot springs or head to Okinawa for an incredibly relaxing (and gorgeous) beach experience! Japan really is a country that has so much to offer. Lean into the experience, try the unusual foods, enjoy the crowds, and jump on that go kart dressed as a pikachu!
Australia
Our travel experts love educating our clients about the ridiculous array of activities that Australia has to offer. It’s a much bigger country than most people assume and figuring out the logistics to fit in each bucket list item can be quite over whelming. We will help you understand the highlights, but then listen to your interests and make some more nuanced suggestions depending on how long you’re able to visit the country. One of my favorite suggestions would be to join a small sailboat with less than 20 other passengers and spend the night (or a few nights) out over the Great Barrier Reef. This allows you to dive in many locations and see the reef in all of her glory. There’s of course endless beaches to explore, but don’t forget about the incredible hiking or even consider jumping on an ATV to explore deep into the outback. Please note, you should not try to hug a kangaroo!
Thailand
If there’s one country that completely consumes you, it’s Thailand. This country is known for it’s incredibly flavorful curries and noodle dishes as well as it’s endless list of intricate temples. There’s also the many islands and infamous beaches of Phuket. Our travel experts are happy to list to your requests, but don’t be surprised if they suggest an island or city that you’ve never heard of. We believe in straying a bit from the mainstream to find the truly wonderful experiences a country can offer. When visiting Thailand, please save a few days to visit the inland portion of the country. The beaches are beautiful but the mountains and temples of Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai are truly a sight to see! I’d also consider a cooking class in this region as you’ll learn more about the authentic ingredients that today’s cuisine still has roots in. A farm visit is worth your time!

Moving 15 minutes in one direction across the boarder will land you in an environment with completely different foods, language, architecture, and art. It’s such an endlessly interesting place to explore.
However, the secrets out. There’s millions of tourist visiting the main cities of Europe each year. We will often encourage you to go in “off season” but also to take the time to visit some of the smaller cities that help maintain the strong individualistic culture of each country. I often say that people buy the trip for the Eiffel Tower, but they end up impacted by the small village they never even knew to ask for.
